Change log 2023

2016 201720182019 2020 202120222023Current

Version 5.4.2

08.12.2023

New features

  • In the vibration statistics, the peaks of the vector sum and Kbf can now also be displayed, in addition to the peaks of the signal curve. It is then also possible to display the threshold values of the relevant standards (VSS 40312, ÖNORM, DIN 4150-2).
  • The user-defined threshold values are now also displayed in the blast table
  • Blasting operations can now be displayed in diagrams (background data)
  • Setting up a Menhir device in a new project has been simplified. Previously, channel assignments could only be carried out once data had already been received. Now the device configuration is transmitted earlier, so that it is possible to create measuring points and assignments earlier.

Changed functions

  • When displaying the trigger condition of events, the user-defined name of the recording profile is now also displayed in the menu.

Fixed bugs

  • The export of a vibration measuring point via the Web API only provided time stamps without measured values.
  • When carrying out visualization in web-based maps, the shape colors did not update according to the alert or online status of the measuring points.
  • Under certain circumstances, deleting alert definitions failed.

Version 5.4.1

21.11.2023

New features

  • The trigger conditions of vibration events are now displayed in full.

Changed functions

  • The automatic offset determination for assignments of geodetic measuring points now also allows the assignment to the same measuring point;
  • The measurement threshold value 4150-3 line 3, permanent vibrations, upper ceiling level is now user-definable. The norm does not specify any fixed threshold values here, as the threshold value must be adjusted as an expert sees fit. Previously, the threshold value was set to 0.
  • For vibration measuring points, only one alert definition can be selected for all norms and no longer for each norm individually. In practice, the same alert definition was usually used.

Fixed bugs

  • Coordinates to specify the measuring site can be entered for the input channels of a measuring point. This is required for the inclinometer function block, for example. It was not possible to enter negative decimal values.
  • For export plans, evaluation views of measuring points that have since been deleted were available for selection.

Version 5.4.0

09.11.2023

New features

  • In addition to the existing norms (DIN 4150-3, DIN 4150-2, etc.), vibration events can now also be analyzed according to user-definable threshold values. Both constant threshold values and frequency-dependent threshold value functions can be defined for peak values of X,Y,Z and the vector sum.
  • A prefix can now optionally be added to the file name of a report in the form “yyyy-mm-dd”, e.g. “2023-10-15 Report.docx”. The start time of the report is taken as the timestamp.
  • When visualizing measuring points/folders on maps, the zoom level can now be selected in the folder properties. The default setting is “Automatic” – this automatically enlarges the map section so that all measuring points and folders are visible;

Fixed bugs

  • In diagrams with a secondary value axis, which is drawn separately below, alarm limits of the primary axis have been drawn in. This was not intended, especially as the unit of the secondary axis can deviate;
  • The upload of inclinometer measurements from GLM no longer worked in version 5.3.1.
  • Under certain circumstances it could happen that the device name of a menhir was not adopted during import;
  • When re-uploading vibration events, an error could occur during import if the events were relatively old.
  • For vibration measuring points in a report in list mode, further evaluations could be added by mistake. At this point, however, it is only intended to select evaluation views of the respective measuring points;

Version 5.3.2

18.10.2023

New features

  • When using the web API, a usage limit has now been built in to ensure reliable operation of the web application. The aim is to prevent the Web API from generating a disproportionately large workload. The current limit is 1 request per second and IP address;

Changed functions

  • When changing or deselecting an alarm definition for the online monitoring of a device, a log entry is now generated
  • When using SEDRIX as a hub for a “common trigger” of several Menhir devices, the performance was increased – but the generation of log entries was removed;

Fixed bugs

  • In the case of automatically generated reports, it was possible that a report was generated more than once under certain circumstances; The fix was basically already included in 5.3.1 – but did not work correctly yet.

Version 5.3.1

11.10.2023

New features

  • When assigning channels, input values can now be validated by a min/max filter Only values within these limits are then considered “valid”.

Fixed bugs

  • The export of some types of interval data did not work (Linear RMS, Exponential RMS, VC Curce, DIN 4150-3)
  • When saving assignments to vibration measuring devices, after changing the device measuring point, the current channel of the device measuring point was not selected, but the last selected one. You had to click on the channel again to select it. This is now no longer necessary.
  • In the case of automatically generated reports, it was possible that a report was generated more than once under certain circumstances;

Version 5.3.0

13.09.2023

New features

  • Folders and measuring points can now be displayed on web-based maps. Besides visualization using user-defined images, there is now also the option to display maps.
  • It is now possible to import inclinometer measurement in the Interfels rpp format.

Changed functions

  • In diagrams with interval data, the “zero line” was not exactly on the bottom edge of a diagram. This automatic margin was meant to make the data easier to see, but in this context was misleading and looked like an “offset”.
  • A clearly visible button for reloading the page is now offered next to the time filter settings.

Fixed bugs

  • When adding evaluation views of a measuring point to a report, the name of the measuring point was no longer visible and it was no longer possible to see which measuring point it was. The name is now displayed as a tag at the top.

Version 5.2.6

20.09.2023

Fixed bugs

  • It was not possible to import data in Solexperts format when special characters were included due to a wrongly detected text encoding
  • It was possible that reports that were supposed to be generated automatically according to a schedule were created multiple times.

Version 5.2.5

25.08.2023

Changed functions

  • In vibration measuring points, the norms are no longer shown in separate tabs, rather below each other. The properties of each norm are only shown when the respective norm is selected.
  • In time-value data sources, the time stamp is now always displayed with ms when the “raw data” is shown. This was introduced for measuring frequencies > 1 Hz.
  • Menhir measuring devices only: When using a “Common trigger” via SEDRIX, the handling of the trigger messages of the devices has been revised. The forwarding of messages now takes place in parallel and completely independently of each other. In addition, the start and end message now appear in the logs of the respective devices.
  • The display of the licence info has been revised.

Fixed bugs

  • In the case of online status alerts, it was possible that the end time of an alert was < the start time, if the alert limits of the alert definition used to monitor the device were reduced.
  • For vibration measuring points, the property “Apply VSS 40312” was not saved.

Version 5.2.4

28.07.2023

New features

  • It is now possible to display SEDRIX in another website, embedded in a so-called “inline frame” (iframe). For this purpose, a setting has been added under Setup, which can only be accessed by an administrator.

Fixed bugs

  • When displaying the “Last available data” in the time filter, it was possible for current data to be missing.
  • When editing assignments to vibration measuring devices, the selection of the current channel was not correct.
  • Alerting was displayed as active although it was deactivated.
  • When exporting an event table, the time zone displayed in the file may have been false (the time change was not taken into account).

Version 5.2.3

26.07.2023

New features

  • When exporting data, the time zone is also exported. In the case of a time change (e.g. to/from summer time), both time zones are displayed in the heading to indicate that a change has taken place here.
  • When exporting all channels of a measuring point, a file name can now be specified for the export file created.

Changed functions

  • When uploading to an FTP server, the number of parallel connections can now be limited. Not all FTP servers allow multiple parallel uploads.
  • After a project change in the project list (by clicking on a project), the system now automatically navigates to the defined start view of the project.

Fixed bugs

  • When importing background data of the new Menhir version, an error could occur under certain circumstances that prevented the import.
  • Users without admin role could not create new logbook entries even though they had the necessary rights.
  • Background data in the unit % (Din 4150-3 and VC-Curve) was wrongly scaled.
  • If the format “Custom CSV” was selected during export, the settings may not have been displayed.
  • In the event table, sorting by column “Duration” no longer worked.

Version 5.2.2

20.07.2023

New features

  • The export was previously based on the evaluations of an evaluation view. This is still the case, but there is now the alternative possibility to export all channels of a measuring point without creating evaluations.

Changed functions

  • Deleting alerts is now only currently possible for super admins. Deleting an alert also deletes all stored notifications, which makes it difficult to correctly account for the SMS messages sent.

Fixed bugs

  • The function block for calculating a hose spirit level has been changed so that if the values of the reference channel are incorrect, all other channels also become “incorrect”. This effectively prevents false alarms caused by incorrect measurements from the reference channel.
  • Sorting query jobs according to the Status column now works as expected again.
  • If the current SEDRIX project was changed in the web interface of a Menhir measuring device, the connection broke down briefly and one had to wait for the device to send new data until it was available again. Now a new device is immediately added to the new project.

Version 5.2.1

10.07.2023

New features

  • Logbook entries are now also possible at the measuring point level. Previously, entries could only be made at folder level.
  • When exporting data via evaluation views, the storage of data in folders can now also be controlled. Previously, the data was exported without a folder hierarchy and stored in folders according to the fixed scheme “year-month” during the time-controlled export. Now, on the one hand, a folder can be defined per evaluation view and, on the other hand, a temporal folder hierarchy can be selected according to various predefined patterns.
  • Automatic export is now also possible for vibration data. This eliminates the “old” dialog in the measuring point when exporting data.
  • For vibration data, tables can now be created in addition to diagrams.
  • For channels of a device measuring point of a vibration measuring device, parameters such as unit or decimal places can now be edited.

Changed functions

  • The creation of logbook entries is no longer possible via the global list. Instead, one has to go to the list of the respective folder or measuring point to create an entry there. This eliminates overlong drop-down menus when creating a new entry.
  • In the Source column of the event table, the name of the event channel is displayed instead of the device name.

Fixed bugs

  • It was possible that query jobs or export jobs were suddenly no longer processed. This has been corrected.

Version 5.2.0

12.06.2023

New features

  • Support for the new version of the Menhir vibration measuring device
  • Several devices can now be assigned to one vibration measuring point. This makes common event tables or comparative diagrams possible
  • An additional column, “Source”, can now be displayed in the event table. This is necessary if events from several devices are to be displayed in one table.
  • When duplicating vibration measuring points, the data source – i.e. the device – can now be exchanged.
  • In reports, evaluation views of individual measuring points can now also be added.

Changed functions

  • The system of assignments for vibration measuring points has been completely revised and now offers more possibilities than before. Only the data that is really needed is assigned. Since the assignment happens at the channel level and no longer at the device measuring point level, it is now necessary to create more assignments. However, this is done in a simple way by assigning several channels in one step.
  • In the evaluations, channels can be selected by type (such as peak, vector sum) or individually. It is now possible, for example, to display the peak interval data of the z-axis of several units in a diagram for comparison.
  • By default, all channels of a diagram are displayed in one diagram, but it is also possible to display up to 10 channels one below the other.
  • The name of the Menhir measuring device is now adopted every time data is imported into SEDRIX and can therefore no longer be changed in SEDRIX. This ensures that the name no longer differs between the Menhir web interface and in SEDRIX Smart Data Center.

Version 5.1.0

06.06.2023

New features

  • Automatic offset calculation when a sensor is replaced:
It is now possible to automatically determine the offset that may have occurred when replacing a sensor. For this purpose, when creating an assignment, the option “Automatically determine offset from previous assignment when saving next” can be selected. This automatically determines the offset for the new sensor when the new assignment is created so that no jump is visible in the measured value diagram. Of course, as before, the offset can also be adjusted manually afterwards.
  • In this version, the concept of evaluation views was also introduced for vibration measuring points. An introduction to evaluation views and what they are used for can be found in the online manual.

Changed functions

  • The names used for background data were previously inconsistent and dependent on the current language. As the names of the channels will be user-definable in the new version of the Menhir measurement device and will play an important role in identifying channels, the names used for background data in SEDRIX will be standardized and internationalized in preparation for this. For example, “Dominante Frequenz” now becomes “Dominant frequency” and “Sekundärer Luftschall” becomes “Secondary airborne noise level”.
  • The export of vibration data via the device measuring points in SEDRIX has changed. Exporting combinations of different channels (such as peaks and vector sum) in one file is no longer possible. An explanation of this can be found in the online manual.

Fixed bugs

  • The report view did not yet have the current layout.
  • When exporting inclinometer measurements via CSV, calculated columns were also exported, which in turn led to errors during re-import.
  • When loading the folder/measuring point table, an error message could sporadically occur.
  • When duplicating function blocks, the corresponding output channels were not created correctly.

Version 5.0.4

30.05.2023

New features

  • It is now possible to manually import water level data from WSV Pegelonline.

Fixed bugs

  • Sorting documents by date no longer worked as expected in version 5.
  • The sum of the aggregated alerts in a folder may not have been correct.
  • When retroactively importing old data, it was possible that under certain circumstances areas were not always displayed when displaying the data, depending on the time filter.

Version 5.0.3

23.03.2023

New features

  • In alert tables, where it makes sense, the measured values at the start and end of an alert are now also displayed.
  • Background data that is no longer required can now be deleted in the device measuring point view.
  • BETA phase: Internally, a new format for importing background data for a new Menhir version has been implemented. The measurement data can now be imported, but further processing in the form of export or assignment to a measuring point is not yet possible.
  • BETA phase: Common trigger via SEDRIX. A function was initially introduced as a test with which a common trigger via the SDC is possible for Menhir measuring devices.

Changed functions

  • When importing geodetic measurement data, the processing has been optimized.

Fixed bugs

  • When uploading events, an error could occur under certain circumstances, which meant that certain events could not be imported. An attempt was made to recognize the text encoding, which is unnecessary for binary formats.

Version 5.0.2

08.03.2023

Changed functions

  • Links that directed to www.smartdata.center in the previous version now direct to www.sedrix.com.
  • The link to the online manual is now language-dependent, so that the manual is now called up in the respective language.

Fixed bugs

  • When automatically exporting measurement data, it was possible that under certain circumstances export jobs were created and carried out multiple times.
  • In event tables, the markers indicating the alert state were no longer displayed
  • When hiding or adding comments to events in the event table, the changes were saved but the table was not updated immediately.
  • After saving an assignment within vibration measuring points, the time until data is available at the measuring point was not updated correctly.
